Database Engineer – SQL/NoSQL | Enterprise Server Environment
Location: Philadelphia, PA (relocation available)

Join our EOT Production Services Team, where you’ll collaborate with engineers, developers, and stakeholders across the business to drive enterprise-scale database innovation and reliability.
What You'll Do
- Manage and support a robust ecosystem of 150+ production database servers
- Administer, configure, and maintain SQL and NoSQL databases, including MongoDB, Oracle, PostgreSQL, InfluxDB, and SQL Server
- Support and optimize ETL processes that drive core business functions and trading applications
- Design and implement highly available, fault-tolerant database architectures
- Collaborate with front-office trading technology teams to deploy next-gen solutions
- Troubleshoot system-wide performance issues, support legacy systems, and enhance database operations
- Tune SQL queries, enhance write operations, and assist with incident response and production data recovery
- Maintain systems through software/hardware upgrades, performance tuning, and monitoring
✅ What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in a Database Administration
- Hands-on experience with SQL and/or NoSQL in large-scale, high-throughput environments
- Experience with Linux and Windows OS
- Proficiency in SQL development, shell scripting, and Python
- Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills
- Strong experience with enterprise database environments—handling tens of millions of rows and terabytes of data
- Familiarity with ETL tools (e.g., Informatica) and DevOps/CI/CD tools (e.g., GitLab, Jenkins, Ansible) is a plus

- Exposure to legacy systems and ability to maintain/modernize them
- Experience supporting trading systems or other low-latency, high-availability environments
- Comfortable diagnosing full-stack issues and proposing infrastructure improvements
