Billing Specialist
Location: Miramar, FL (onsite)
Contract to Hire
We are seeking a Billing Specialist to join our team at our corporate office in Miramar, FL. This onsite role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with experience in billing, invoicing, or accounting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and review invoices daily for various services and products.
- Verify customer invoicing requirements, pricing, freight, and tax charges.
- Ensure compliance with E-RATE government program invoicing rules and regulations.
- Monitor revenue not billed reporting and follow up on pending items.
- Process orders received via Electronic Data Interchange (EDI)
- Manage credit memos, returns, and debit memos.
- Respond to customer and business partner inquiries regarding invoices.
- Assist with special projects and business system integration as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in billing, invoicing, or accounting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and accounting software such as Dynamics, MAS, or ConnectWise.
