Job Description
This role involves forecasting, expense monitoring, financial analysis, and reporting to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with project managers and other stakeholders.
The candidate must have an overall understanding of internal controls, recording and reporting of financial transactions, including the origination of the transactions, its recognition, processing and summarization in the financial statements. The candidate must be able to multitask and effectively deal with time constraints. The candidate must be able to work with a group and independently.
Analytical skills required
• Ability to collect data and establish facts and identify trends and variances
• Ability to integrate information from a variety of sources with varied levels of complexity
• Ability to review, interpret and evaluate accounting transactional information
PC Skills
• Microsoft Office (Excel and Access)
• SAP
• Problem solving and analysis
Knowledge and Experience:
• 3 to 5 years of Accounting/Finance
