Job Description

Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Salesforce CapStorm Consultant to support our data management, backup, and migration initiatives using CapStorm’s suite of tools. The ideal candidate will have in-depth experience with Salesforce architecture and data structures, along with a strong understanding of CapStorm’s capabilities, including data replication, backup, and seeding solutions. You will be instrumental in ensuring data integrity, regulatory compliance, and business continuity across Salesforce environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• CapStorm Implementation & Configuration:
• Design, implement, and maintain CapStorm solutions (e.g., DataExport, DataImport, CopyStorm/Restore, CopyStorm/Seed) for Salesforce data replication and migration.
• Configure and automate data synchronization between Salesforce and external databases (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL).
• Salesforce Data Management:
• Support backup, disaster recovery, and sandbox seeding strategies.
• Troubleshoot and optimize CapStorm jobs and processes.
• Ensure data accuracy and consistency across all Salesforce environments.
• Stakeholder Engagement:
• Collaborate with Salesforce developers, administrators, data architects, and business stakeholders to define requirements and deliver solutions.
• Provide training and documentation to internal teams on CapStorm best practices.
• Performance Monitoring:
• Monitor CapStorm job health and performance, implementing tuning or redesigns as necessary.
• Identify areas for process improvement or automation.

Qualifications:

Required:

• 4+ years of Salesforce experience (Administrator, Developer, or Consultant role)
• 1+ year of direct experience with CapStorm tools (CopyStorm, DataExport, etc.)
• Proficiency in SQL and understanding of relational databases
• Familiarity with Salesforce metadata and APIs
• Strong understanding of data management principles
• Experience with sandbox seeding, data backup, and restoration

Preferred:

• Salesforce certifications (Administrator, Platform App Builder, Data Architecture & Management Designer)
• Experience with Git or version control systems
• Basic scripting knowledge (e.g., Python, Shell, or PowerShell)
