Azure Developer

Contract to hire

Must live within a commutable distance of one of the following cities: Atlanta, GA; Dallas, TX; Detroit, MI; Houston, TX; Phoenix, AZ

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy cloud-native applications and microservices on Microsoft Azure.
• Build and manage API integrations, Azure Functions, and event-driven services to support auto finance operations.
• Support digital workflows such as credit checks, payment processing, loan servicing, and customer onboarding.
• Develop automated CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, including build, test, and release stages.
• Optimize application performance and scalability while maintaining high code quality.
• Work with stakeholders from finance and IT teams to define requirements and deliver solutions aligned with business goals.
• Ensure data security and compliance for sensitive financial and customer information.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for cloud architecture reviews, design validations, and production rollouts.

 Required Skills / Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
• 5–10 years of development experience, with at least 3+ years of hands-on Azure development.
• Proficiency with .NET Core, C#, Azure Functions, App Services, Service Bus, and Azure SQL/Cosmos DB.
• Strong experience with Azure DevOps, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Exposure to auto finance processes (e.g., leasing, underwriting, servicing, or credit decisioning).
• Solid understanding of cloud security practices, identity management, and role-based access controls.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, serverless architecture, and event-based systems.
• Experience with ARM/Bicep templates or Terraform for IaC is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Microsoft certifications like AZ-204 (Azure Developer Associate) or AZ-400 (DevOps Engineer).
• Familiarity with Power Platform, Azure Logic Apps, or Data Factory.
• Background working in regulated environments (e.g., PCI, GDPR).
• Experience with auto-finance industry.
• Experience integrating with auto lending systems, dealership platforms, or credit bureaus.
