• Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or applicable Technical Engineering Degree from an accredited university
• 2+ years practical experience in Automotive Engineering, Engineering Quality or Manufacturing Quality
• Prior application and use of problem solving tools and statistics
• Strong proficiency in MS Office applications & G-Suite tools
• Ability to collect and synthesize data into meaningful information and communicate clearly to all levels of the organization
• Must be self-motivated, results driven, able to work with minimal supervision
• Excellent critical thinking and leadership skills
• Positive communication and interpersonal skills, including presentation skills
• May be required to drive a company vehicle – valid driver’s license & clean driving record required
• May be required to travel – Domestic & International (0-20%)
Additional Information / Must Have's:
1. Solid understanding of product and process development in an automotive or manufacturing environment.
2. Proficiency in root-cause analysis (RCA) and corrective action methodologies to quickly diagnose and resolve production and quality issues.
3. Ability to lead and coordinate a cross-functional engineering team responsible for product/process evolutions, supplier quality, and plant quality convergence.
Remote Hybrid - 3 days in office with flexibility.
Will this position be required to drive a Stellantis vehicle during the assignment? Yes, to test vehicles and parts.
Travel: 10-30%, depending on need.
Local plants Windsor / USA Detroit/Toledo area.
