Electrical Technician - Columbia City, IN

Job Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and maintain industrial electrical equipment and electrical systems in a manufacturing environment
• Perform electrical preventive maintenance (PM) on production machinery and facility equipment
• Safely install, maintain, modify, and repair electrical equipment and components
• Troubleshoot PLCs, VFDs, AC/DC drives, HMIs, motors, motor controls, and related automation equipment
• Troubleshoot electrical circuits, controls, power distribution, and industrial equipment
• Perform electrical maintenance and repairs using proper lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures
• Assist mechanics, machine operators, and other maintenance personnel with equipment troubleshooting and repairs
• Support the installation and startup of new electrical equipment and machinery
• Assist with electrical projects, equipment upgrades, and process improvements
• Identify electrical issues and determine appropriate corrective actions to minimize equipment downtime
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment while following electrical and plant safety procedures
