Storm Search is conducting a DIRECT HIRE search for a Multi-Craft Maintenance Tech in Spring Hill, KS.

Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician

Job Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems in an industrial production environment
• Install, maintain and troubleshoot electrical distribution systems, branch circuits, lighting and transformers
• Troubleshoot electrical and electronic controls including photo eyes, relays, limit switches, proximity sensors, timers, solenoids, servo drives, tachometers and encoders
• Maintain and repair motors, motor starters, gearboxes, drives, fans, pumps, conveyors and timing belts
• Troubleshoot PLCs and ladder logic, including CPUs, I/O boards, counters, control and communication modules
• Perform preventative maintenance and support equipment reliability
• Read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics
• Work collaboratively with the maintenance and production teams and maintain strong working relationships across the organization
• Complete other maintenance projects and duties as assigned

Qualifications

• 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience or equivalent apprenticeship experience; high school diploma/GED required
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience, including 24V–480V electrical systems, PLCs, motors, drives and industrial equipment
• Experience with electrical schematics, blueprints, preventative maintenance and CMMS preferred; robotic packaging experience is a plus
• Ability to work in hot, noisy industrial environments, climb ladders/stairs, and stand/walk for 10–12 hours; occasional lifting/pushing/pulling up to 100 lbs.
