Welder / Fabricator – 1st Shift

Location: Medina, OH
Pay: $25–$28/hour
Schedule: Monday–Thursday | 6:00 AM–4:30 PM
Job Type: Full-Time | Direct Hire

Responsibilities & Qualifications

We are seeking an experienced Welder/Fabricator with a strong background in custom fabrication and job shop welding. This position involves complex, blueprint-driven fabrication rather than repetitive production welding.

• Perform MIG/GMAW, TIG/GTAW, and Stick/SMAW welding
• Weld in flat, vertical, and overhead positions
• Fabricate and fit complex components and weldments
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and welding symbols
• Perform layout, fit-up, fabrication, and custom welding
• Weld carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and other alloys
• Troubleshoot welding, fabrication, and fit-up issues
• Produce high-quality welds on custom-built industrial equipment
• Meet established production and quality standards
• Assist with training and mentoring less-experienced welders
• Minimum 3 years of welding/fabrication experience
• Custom fabrication or job shop welding experience required
• Strong MIG, TIG, and Stick welding experience
• Strong blueprint reading and complex fitting skills
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Ability to pass a high-level welding test/certification
• Welding school or certification preferred
• Lead Welder or mentoring experience is a plus
