Cudahy, WI | Direct Hire | On-Site

Base Salary: $80,000–$90,000
Shift Differential: 10%
Annual Bonus: $10,000 Target
Schedule: Sunday–Thursday, 10:00 PM–7:00 AM

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead third-shift maintenance operations within a large, fast-paced manufacturing facility. This position will oversee a team of 5–10 Maintenance Technicians and play a key role in equipment reliability, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, safety, and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong electro-mechanical background, PLC and instrumentation knowledge, and proven maintenance leadership experience within a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of 5–10 Maintenance Technicians.
  • Direct preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities across production equipment and facility systems.
  • Ensure maintenance work is completed safely, accurately, and in accordance with established procedures.
  • Provide leadership during equipment failures, troubleshooting efforts, and root-cause analysis.
  • Support troubleshooting of PLCs, instrumentation, electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and related industrial systems.
  • Partner with Production to prioritize repairs, reduce equipment downtime, and improve overall reliability.
  • Oversee maintenance work orders, SAP documentation, equipment records, and inventory-related processes.
  • Support preventive and predictive maintenance programs, TPM initiatives, SOPs, and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Monitor maintenance performance through KPIs, equipment reliability, and operational metrics.
  • Train and mentor employees on proper maintenance procedures, troubleshooting techniques, and safe work practices.
  • Maintain compliance with applicable safety, OSHA, USDA, and facility requirements.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Previous maintenance leadership experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Strong knowledge of PLCs and instrumentation.
  • Solid electro-mechanical troubleshooting and maintenance experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead technicians and provide coaching, training, and performance direction.
  • Experience with preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with Maintenance, Production, Engineering, and other departments.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Bachelor's degree is not required; equivalent education, technical training, and relevant industry experience will be considered.
  • Must be available to work third shift and rotating weekend coverage.

  • Ammonia refrigeration knowledge
  • High-pressure boiler and compressed air experience
  • PLC controls and industrial instrumentation
  • SAP or similar CMMS experience
  • TPM and reliability maintenance experience
  • OSHA and/or USDA-regulated manufacturing experience
