Master Electrician
Shift: 1st Shift | Day Shift (Start Time Approximately 6:007:00 AM)
Pay: $45.10/hour + $2,500 Sign-On Bonus
What You'll Do
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial electrical systems and equipment
- Diagnose electrical issues using meters, test equipment, and schematics
- Maintain electrical panels, motors, transformers, lighting systems, and power distribution equipment
- Install and repair wiring, conduit, outlets, and electrical components
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
- Troubleshoot motors, controls, electrical circuits, and production equipment
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on electrical systems
- Transfer and connect primary power systems when required
- Maintain compliance with electrical codes and plant safety procedures
- Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), GMP, and safety requirements
- Support equipment upgrades, installations, and modernization projects
- Work closely with maintenance, operations, and outside contractors to minimize downtime
Qualifications
- Minnesota Master Electrician License (Required)
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3+ years of industrial electrical maintenance experience preferred
- Ability to read electrical prints and wiring diagrams
- Strong troubleshooting skills with industrial electrical systems
- Experience with motors, electrical panels, controls, and power distribution
- Ability to work independently and as part of a maintenance team
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen (THC excluded)
Preferred Qualifications
- Food manufacturing experience
- Experience with forklifts, scissor lifts, or genie lifts
- Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), Confined Space, and Hazmat certifications
- Candidates with reciprocal Master Electrician licensing from neighboring states may be considered
