Industrial Maintenance Technician

Location: Bloomington, IN
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM–3:30 PM (Day Shift)
Pay: $30–$35+/hour based on experience + Monthly Performance Bonus

Day Shift. No Rotating Schedule. Very Limited Overtime.

We're hiring an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to join a stable, family-owned manufacturer that has been in business for more than 100 years.

This is a true industrial maintenance position supporting manufacturing equipment—not apartment, hotel, or facilities maintenance.

What You'll Do

• Troubleshoot and repair industrial manufacturing equipment
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical issues
• Troubleshoot industrial electrical systems up to 480V
• Perform basic PLC troubleshooting and support automated equipment
• Maintain automatic resistance welders, industrial saws, powder coating equipment, forklifts, and material handling systems
• Read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings
• Install, repair, and improve manufacturing equipment
• Complete maintenance documentation and work orders
• Support continuous improvement initiatives that increase equipment reliability and uptime

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Experience working on production or manufacturing equipment
• Ability to troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Experience reading electrical schematics and mechanical prints
• Basic PLC troubleshooting experience preferred
• Associate degree in Electronics Technology or related technical field is a plus

Preferred Equipment Experience

Experience maintaining equipment such as:

• Automatic resistance welders
• Industrial saws
• Powder coating systems
• Material handling equipment
• Forklifts
• Automated manufacturing equipment
