Location: Columbus, OH
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

The Opportunity

We are seeking a customer-focused Service Writer to serve as the main point of contact between customers and the service team. In this role, you'll create work orders, prepare repair quotes, dispatch technicians, and coordinate service activities from start to finish.

This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in machinery, heavy equipment, construction, agriculture, trucking, or a repair facility who understands equipment service and repair operations.

What You'll Be Doing

• Create, manage, and process service work orders
• Prepare quotes and estimates for equipment repairs and maintenance
• Serve as the primary contact for customers and provide service updates
• Schedule and dispatch field and shop technicians
• Coordinate communication between customers, technicians, and internal departments
• Process warranty claims and maintain accurate service documentation
• Assist with invoicing, billing inquiries, and other administrative functions
• Ensure service records and work orders are completed accurately and on time

What We're Looking For

• • Experience writing and quoting work orders in a machinery, heavy equipment, agricultural, construction, trucking, or repair facility environment
  • Strong understanding of equipment operation, maintenance, and repair processes
  • Previous experience as a Service Writer, Service Coordinator, Service Advisor, or similar role
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Valid driver's license required
