Job Description

• Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on mechanical equipment and machinery
• Diagnose equipment issues by observing operation, listening for abnormalities, and using precision measuring and testing instruments
• Disassemble and repair defective equipment using hand tools, power tools, hoists, and cranes
• Fabricate replacement parts using machine shop tools and basic machining techniques
• Adjust and align equipment components to meet manufacturer and company specifications
• Utilize tools such as levels, plumb bobs, straightedges, and digital multimeters for accurate setup and repair
• Coordinate with supervisors and production teams to schedule and complete maintenance activities, minimizing downtime
• Safely operate equipment including electric carts, forklifts, articulating boom lifts, and manlifts

Qualifications

• 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience
• Familiarity with chain drives and conveyor systems
• Electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic experience
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
