Job Description

CNC Mill Operator
Location: Walton Hills, OH
Shift: 1st Shift - 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (flexible hours)
Pay: $24-26/hr + overtime available

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC milling machines with minimal supervision
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions to produce machined parts
• Make program adjustments and edits using G-code and M-code as needed
• Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards
• Utilize precision measuring tools to verify dimensions and tolerances
• Perform routine checks on materials, tools, and equipment
• Safely move materials using forklifts and overhead cranes
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all safety guidelines and proactively identify workplace hazards
• Support additional shop operations as required

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 3+ years of experience in CNC machining, including setup and operation
• Strong blueprint reading and interpretation skills
• Working knowledge of G-code/M-code editing and troubleshooting
• Experience using inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, and bore gauges
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions on the shop floor
