Mechanical Technician – 2nd Shift

Pay: $30–$34/hr
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 3:30pm - 12am
Location: Akron | On-site

What You’ll Do

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment on the production floor
• Perform preventative maintenance to reduce downtime
• Work on conveyors, motors, gearboxes, pumps, hydraulics, and pneumatics
• Install and set up new equipment
• Read blueprints and schematics
• Partner with production and engineering teams
• Support continuous improvement initiatives

What You Need

• 2+ years of mechanical maintenance experience (manufacturing preferred)
• Strong troubleshooting skills (not just part replacement)
• Experience with mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Hands-on mechanical aptitude (automotive or similar backgrounds welcome)
• High school diploma or GED
