CNC Machinist - Direct Hire | 2nd & 3rd Shift | Fremont, OH

$25-30/hr + 15% Shift Premium | Modern Air-Conditioned Shop | 3-5-Axis Equipment


Schedule Options

• 2nd Shift: Mon-Fri, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM + Shift Premium
• Flexible 4x10 Option: Mon-Thu, 3:00 PM - 2:00 AM
• 3rd Shift: Sun-Thu, 10:30 PM - 7:00 AM + 11% Shift Premium
• Training completed on 1st shift

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, and operate CNC mills, lathes, grinders, EDM, and precision tooling equipment
• Machine complex custom components to tight tolerances and high-finish specifications
• Work with 3-axis and 5-axis machining centers in a high-end manufacturing environment
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CNC programs
• Load and verify programs (programming experience not required)
• Perform inspections, troubleshooting, teardown, and quality checks
• Operate multiple machines while maximizing efficiency and machine utilization
• Support production goals related to scrap reduction, rework, labor efficiency, and downtime

• 3+ years of CNC machining experience
• Strong setup and operating skills on mills/lathes
• Experience reading CNC G-Code (Fanuc, Siemens, or similar controls)
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
