Storm Search is seeking candidates for DIRECT HIRE for a Maintenance Technician position in Cambridge City, IN.

Key Functions:

• Lead and train maintenance team members on safe, efficient repair practices

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical production systems including conveyors, gearboxes, motors, bearings, and hydraulic systems

• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime

• Inspect, adjust, and align belts, chains, rollers, and drives for smooth operation

• Dismantle and rebuild equipment using hand tools, power tools, and lifting devices

• Fabricate and install mechanical components, brackets, guards, and supports as needed

• Coordinate with plant management to plan and schedule maintenance activities

• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance work performed

• Enforce and follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and all safety policies

• Support continuous improvement and reliability initiatives across the facility

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience as a Maintenance Technician or Mechanic in a manufacturing environment

• Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience maintaining conveyors, gear drives, pumps, and production machinery

• High School Diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training preferred
