Compensation: Up to ~$125,000 (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, flexible start times
Develop engineered quotations, including labor and material cost estimates
Prepare written proposals and project documentation
Design control systems and generate CAD drawings (AutoCAD Lite / AutoCAD Electrical)
Create and maintain accurate Bills of Materials
Program PLCs, HMIs, motor drives, and servos (Rockwell/Allen-Bradley primarily)
Support shop personnel and purchasing on technical and material issues
Work with quality teams to ensure design integrity and compliance
Communicate with customers and vendors throughout project execution
Maintain documentation transmittals and project records
Perform field startup, commissioning, troubleshooting, and occasional wiring/installation
Ensure compliance with NEC and gain working knowledge of UL 508A requirements
Own projects end-to-end and close out all remaining issues efficiently
Hands-on experience in industrial controls or automation engineering
Ability to independently quote, design, program, and commission control systems
Strong PLC and HMI programming experience (Allen-Bradley / Rockwell preferred)
Experience with AutoCAD Electrical or similar CAD tools
Strong understanding of electrical control systems and documentation
Ability to troubleshoot across electrical, mechanical, and system interfaces
Strong communication skills with customers, vendors, and internal teams
High level of ownership, accountability, and follow-through
High school diploma required; electrical engineering degree preferred but not required
