Job Description

HVAC Service Technician – Travel role - Based out of Denver, CO

Pay Range: $25.00 – $40.00 per hour + performance bonuses
Schedule: Weekdays with flexibility; overtime and weekends as needed

Key Responsibilities

• Perform startup, commissioning, service, and warranty support on commercial HVAC equipment

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical and electrical HVAC systems

• Program unit controllers and VFDs to match design intent and sequences of operation

• Troubleshoot high and low voltage circuits, controls, airflow, refrigeration, and hydronic systems

• Interface with BAS contractors to align sequences and system operation

• Interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and control sequences

• Document all work performed, inspections, findings, and action items

• Coordinate labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors as needed

• Perform site surveys, quality checks, and prepare service estimates

• Maintain safe work practices and comply with all safety requirements

• Represent the organization professionally with customers and other trades

• Maintain an organized service vehicle and tools

• Travel as required for regional and out-of-town assignments

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent

• EPA certification required

• Minimum 5 years of commercial HVAC and/or controls experience

• Strong mechanical skills with experience on complex HVAC systems

• Experience with rooftop units, air handlers, hydronic systems, and large commercial equipment

• Controls experience and familiarity with BAS systems preferred

• Ability to read electrical schematics and engineering drawings

• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification required

• Moderate computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

• Willingness to travel and work flexible hours
