EHS Specialist Job Description
Follow all company safety rules, safe work practices, and standard operating procedures.
Lead by example by demonstrating safe, professional behavior at all times.
Learn and maintain knowledge of the company’s quality systems.
Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
Support leadership in maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
Help ensure Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) policies comply with regulations and company standards.
Identify workplace risks and work with teams to reduce or eliminate hazards.
Manage emergency procedures, including training and audits to ensure readiness.
Track, monitor, and report EHS performance metrics.
Investigate accidents and near-miss incidents, document findings, and report as required.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a major in occupational safety, environmental science or a closely related field.
1 to 3 years of relevant EHS experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment, or equivalent combination of education and on-the-job training or experience.
