Storm Search is looking for a candidate for a direct hire opportunity as a Raw Material Handler/Forklift Operator in the Morgantown, PA area.

Responsibilities:

• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot machinery for processing titanium revert and EB/Plasma melting.
• Operate equipment for sorting, cleaning, sizing, blending, and compacting titanium revert, sponge, and alloys.
• Assist with machinery maintenance and repairs as needed.
• Material Handler: Load, unload, and transport supplies using forklifts, front-end loaders, and other equipment.
• Forklift Operator: Perform preventative checks and operate forklifts safely and efficiently.
• Conduct facility clean-up operations and maintain a safe, organized workspace.
• Complete work assignments per production requirements and input shop floor data accurately.
• Train in fire prevention and firefighting for titanium fires.
• Communicate equipment/material issues, safety concerns, and PPE requirements to relief employees.
• Evaluate work area/equipment for safety at shift start and end.
• Follow safety procedures and meet/exceed productivity requirements.
• Cross-train in other operations to support flexible manufacturing processes.
• Help cross-train coworkers once proficient in tasks.
• Participate in continuous improvement efforts and suggest process/cost-saving improvements.
• Identify opportunities to reduce yield loss and eliminate waste.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years experience in Industrial/Manufacturing environments as a Raw Material Handler and/or Forklift Operator
• Welding experience preferred
• Forklift Certification preferred
