Schedule: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM (flexibility required for nights, weekends, and holidays)
Pay Range: $65,000 – $75,000
Supervise, schedule, and manage sanitation crews to meet all sanitation and food safety requirements
Train sanitation and plant employees on sanitation procedures, safety practices, and GMPs
Build, maintain, and execute the Master Sanitation Schedule
Ensure all sanitation tasks are completed at required frequencies
Enforce safety policies, GMP standards, and sanitation compliance
Work closely with Quality and Engineering teams to identify and correct sanitation risks
Participate in the development, execution, and auditing of SSOPs
Maintain chemical inventory levels and coordinate with chemical suppliers for training and support
Lead continuous improvement efforts related to sanitation effectiveness and execution
Provide input on hiring, discipline, performance management, and promotions
Serve as the sanitation authority for new equipment, line changes, and facility modifications
Communicate effectively across a multilingual team to ensure expectations are clearly understood
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Prior sanitation experience in a food manufacturing environment (required)
Working knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation programs, and CIP systems
Proven leadership experience supervising sanitation or production teams
Strong communication skills with the ability to train, motivate, and hold teams accountable
Ability to work with multilingual teams (Spanish or Haitian Creole a plus)
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-through
Mechanically inclined with basic troubleshooting ability preferred
