We are seeking a Experienced Quality technician In Glen Mills, PA.
This is a hands-on position requiring attention to detail, strong communication with production teams, and the ability to work overtime when required.
Pay Rate: Up to $20.99 per hour, based on experience

Perform required quality tests in SPC systems (CO₂, Brix, TA, air, codes, dew point, taste, odor, appearance, sodium, net content, etc.)
Conduct control drink testing and can seam inspections
Perform weekly full-round filler net content checks
Support product changeovers and valve troubleshooting/rebuilding
Assist, train, and mentor other lab technicians on testing, CIP, micros, and filler changeovers
Maintain SQF readiness and follow up on corrective actions
Verify water room testing and PM activities
Communicate with production regarding schedules, changes, and syrup batch issues
Correct batches as needed based on control drink results
Ensure syrup tanks and high-shear mixers are properly CIP’d and verified clean
Maintain GMP compliance and a clean, organized work area at all times
Accurately follow batch instruction sheets, ingredient weights, and lot numbers
Batch syrup using correct formulations and mixing instructions
Lift ingredient bags up to 50 lbs and open 1–5 gallon pails/jugs
Use HMI/computer systems to request bulk ingredients
Operate CIP systems and handle cleaning chemicals
Review daily production schedules to coordinate batching
Maintain cleanliness of batching and sugar rooms
Ensure all safety standards and GMP requirements are met
Understanding of GMP and lab safety practices
Preferred:
Beverage or food manufacturing experience
BS/BA in a scientific field (Microbiology strongly preferred)
At least one college-level Microbiology course
Familiarity with SQF-regulated environments
Prior forklift experience (test required during hiring process)
Manufacturing environment with moving mechanical equipment
Exposure to wet floors, humidity, cold conditions, and caustic chemicals
Hearing protection required
Frequent standing, walking, reaching, tasting, and smelling
Occasional lifting up to 75 lbs
