Injection Molding Process Technician - 3rd Shift - Mentor, OH

• Location: Mentor, OH
• Shift: 10:00pm–6:00am, Monday–Friday
• Pay: $20-$30/hour

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, start up, shut down, and monitor plastic injection molding machines and related equipment.
• Verify proper mold, process, and auxiliary equipment setup before production.
• Perform in-process inspections and ensure all required documentation is completed.
• Maintain compliance with ISO 13485 and FDA manufacturing standards.
• Follow all facility safety policies, OSHA regulations, and GMP requirements.
• Operate forklifts and overhead cranes regularly.
• Troubleshoot molding issues, perform basic mechanical repairs, and ensure part quality.
• Support production scheduling and communicate potential delays or issues.
• Monitor, track, and help reduce scrap.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities including 5S, standard work adherence, and data tracking.
• Perform packing, inspection, and other general production duties as needed.

Required Experience & Skills

• Minimum 5 years of injection molding experience or comparable mechanical/technical experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• With a relevant degree: 3 years of related experience accepted.
• Without a degree: 5 years of related experience accepted.
