Sr. Tool Maker – 1 PM to 9 PM Shift (Conroe, TX)

Pay: $55–$60 per hour
Shift: 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM, Monday–Friday
Relocation: Up to $7,000 for qualified candidates

What You’ll Do:

• Prepare molds and tooling for production runs

• Train toolmaking trainees in EDM, machining, grinding, and shop safety

• Read and interpret blueprints and determine machining operations needed

• Inspect tools and components for wear, damage, or dimensional issues

• Perform repairs using manual and CNC machines, grinders, mills, and EDM equipment

• Work with cross-functional teams to support production needs

• Use precision measuring tools to verify tolerances and dimensions

• Perform high-tolerance work to exact specifications

• Follow safe machining practices and company shop standards

Required Experience:

• Strong background in toolmaking for injection molds

• Hands-on experience with EDM (sinker, wire, hole popper), machining centers, Bridgeport mills, manual grinders

• Ability to train junior toolmakers

• Ability to read blueprints and work to tight tolerances

• Experience with CNC and manual machining (deal breaker if missing)

• Strong mechanical and precision machining skills

Nice to Have:

• 8+ years of toolmaking experience

• Journeyman-level training or certification
