Facilities Maintenance Technician - 1st Shift - Battle Creek, MI

• Location: Battle Creek, MI
• Shift: 1st shift, 7am-3pm M-F
• Pay: $32.00–$44.00 per hour (based on mechanical aptitude test score)

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Perform minor maintenance and repairs in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, painting, and general building upkeep.
• Replace light bulbs, ceiling tiles, door hardware, and other basic facility components.
• Repair locks on doors, cabinets, lockers, and similar fixtures.
• Travel between plant locations to inspect facilities, identify maintenance needs, and complete assigned work orders.
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices and all safety protocols, including PPE use, confined space rules, chemical handling, and fall protection.
• Communicate effectively with the maintenance supervisor and demonstrate solid problem-solving skills.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

Work Environment:

• Frequent exposure to moving machinery and forklifts.
• Occasional exposure to wet, humid, or cold conditions.
• Loud noise levels at times.
• May require standing, walking, or sitting for periods of time.
• May need to lift or move up to 50 lbs.
