Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage multiple Foremen to ensure work is performed safely, efficiently, and to quality standards.
Establish and reinforce a strong 24/7 safety culture.
Assist in developing overall project schedules and create detailed 90-day and 3-week look-ahead schedules.
Conduct pre-planning, goal setting, and daily coordination with crews.
Monitor and manage costs for assigned work items.
Coordinate manpower, equipment, materials, tooling, and subcontractor activity.
Support performance management, training, and compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management, or equivalent hands-on field experience progressing through skilled trades into supervisory roles.
6+ years of field management experience in heavy civil construction.
Roadway/highway experience strongly preferred.
Skills & Abilities:
Strong understanding of safety regulations and ability to promote safe work practices.
Effective leadership and team management skills across multiple self-performing disciplines.
Thorough knowledge of construction industry standards and project controls.
Proficient in creating schedules using Excel and preparing pre-planning documentation in Word.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to coordinate across project teams.
