Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage multiple Foremen to ensure work is performed safely, efficiently, and to quality standards.

• Establish and reinforce a strong 24/7 safety culture.

• Assist in developing overall project schedules and create detailed 90-day and 3-week look-ahead schedules.

• Conduct pre-planning, goal setting, and daily coordination with crews.

• Monitor and manage costs for assigned work items.

• Coordinate manpower, equipment, materials, tooling, and subcontractor activity.

• Support performance management, training, and compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management, or equivalent hands-on field experience progressing through skilled trades into supervisory roles.

• 6+ years of field management experience in heavy civil construction.

• Roadway/highway experience strongly preferred.

Skills & Abilities:

• Strong understanding of safety regulations and ability to promote safe work practices.

• Effective leadership and team management skills across multiple self-performing disciplines.

• Thorough knowledge of construction industry standards and project controls.

• Proficient in creating schedules using Excel and preparing pre-planning documentation in Word.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to coordinate across project teams.
