Responsible for on-site field visits to supervise the installation of equipment.
Investigate and resolve customer reports of technical problems with equipment and perform routine repairs.
Partner with customers to ensure excellent communication and service.
Responsible to insure all new or modified installations of equipment have been completed to ensure full functionality according to applicable industry standards, company standards, and customer specifications.
Review performance reports and documentation from customers and inspect malfunctioning or damaged equipment to determine nature and scope of problem.
Analyze inspection reports to determine source of problem and make recommendations for repair, replacement, or other corrective action.
Maintains records of reports.
Troubleshoots, dismantles, and reassembles machines, equipment, and their subassemblies according to customers’ needs following drawings and other written and verbal specifications; plans assembly procedures, following specifications and using knowledge gained by experience.
Drills, taps, or reams holes, aligns components, and bolts, screws, or rivets them together using hand tools or portable power tools; installs moving parts, such as shafts, levers, fan blades, bearings, and work them to test free movement; bends and installs pipe for lubricating systems.
Aligns and meshes gears in gearbox to assemble system of gears including drive motors and fan shafts alignment.
