Mold Maintenance Technician

1st shift

$28-$40/hr

Job Description

• Perform troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and repair of plastic injection molds and hot runner systems.
• Utilize toolroom equipment—including mills, surface grinders, and lathes—for mold repair, modification, and improvement.
• Identify, repair, or request replacement of parts, tooling, and hardware to maintain adequate inventory levels.
• Set up and operate hand tools and manual machine shop equipment to support maintenance and production needs.
• Collaborate with internal engineering teams on specialized operations or technical requirements.
• Inspect and measure components using precision toolroom inspection instruments to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Perform additional related duties as assigned to support department and production goals.

Requirements:

• Experience with repairing injection molding machines
• Provide preventative maintenance to equipment
• Able to use toolroom equipment - mills, grinders and lathes
• Lockout/tagout experience
• High School Diploma OR GED
