Job Description

What you'll do:

• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair plastic molds and hot systems.

• Use toolroom equipment such as mills, surface grinders, and lathes for mold repair or improvements.

• Repair or request replacement parts, tooling, or hardware to maintain inventory.

• Set up and operate hand tools and manual toolroom machines.

• Coordinate with the MGS Engineering department for specific operations or technical needs.

• Utilize toolroom inspection equipment as required.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.

• Mechanically inclined with strong problem-solving skills.

• Experience with hand tools; familiarity with molds and preventive maintenance preferred.

• Knowledge of toolroom equipment (mills, surface grinders, lathes) and mold building/injection molding processes is a plus.

• Lockout/Tagout and forklift experience.

• Ability to read and follow detailed work instructions
