Fleet Mechanic – 2nd Shift | $32–$44/hr | ASE Certified | Battle Creek, MI

Pay & Schedule

• $32–$44/hour depending on ASE certifications:

• Shift: 2nd shift (2:00 PM – 12:00 AM)

• Schedule: Monday–Friday with occasional overtime

• May train on 1st shift for up to 1 week

• Small team (fewer than 5 mechanics)

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair diesel trucks, refrigerated trailers, and related equipment

• Perform PMs, brake and suspension work, and basic electrical repairs

• Diagnose and troubleshoot engine and refrigeration issues

• Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and complete documentation

• Maintain a safe, organized work environment and follow shop safety policies

• Provide your own basic diesel tools

Qualifications

• Medium/Heavy Truck ASE Certifications required

• Diesel mechanic experience required

• Valid driver’s license

• Must pass background check and pre-employment drug screen (9-panel, THC excluded)

• Must complete company application and pre-employment physical/lift test

• Professional, reliable, and self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills
