Storm Search is seeking candidates for DIRECT HIRE for a Maintenance Technician (CNC) position in Sherwood, OR.

• Competitive pay: $34–$50/hour (based on experience)

• 15% shift differential once transitioned to weekend shift

• Weekend shift: Friday–Monday, 6:00am–4:30pm

Key Functions:

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on CNC and manual mills and lathes

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems

• Act as the primary maintenance technician on the weekend shift, working independently while supporting 24/7 production

• Diagnose equipment failures using prints, wiring diagrams, manuals, and diagnostic tools

• Dismantle, repair, and rebuild machinery using hand tools, power tools, hoists, and cranes

• Maintain and troubleshoot relay logic, contactors, starters, limit switches, proximity sensors, photo eyes, VFDs, and HMIs

• Execute preventive maintenance tasks including inspections, lubrication, filter replacement, and system adjustments

• Complete work orders and daily maintenance reports accurately and on time

• Follow and enforce Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and all safety procedures

• Support root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives

• Maintain strong communication with production and plant leadership

• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, sanitation, and company policies

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of CNC maintenance, troubleshooting, and industrial repair experience 

• Proven experience with electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems

• US Citizenship required (ITAR-regulated facility)

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
