Location: Battle Creek, MI
Shift: Night shift, 5pm–5am (2-2-3 schedule)
Training: Must train on 1st shift, Monday–Friday, 7am–3pm
Pay: $30–$40/hour
Competitive hourly pay: $30–$40/hr

Perform mechanical maintenance including valve, bearing, chain, motor, and gearbox replacements, and lubrication system upkeep.
Read and interpret electrical schematics to install, troubleshoot, and repair equipment up to 480V, 3-Phase.
Troubleshoot and rewire high-speed production equipment including AC/DC motors, VFDs, PLCs, PLC I/O modules, and servo motors.
Maintain and repair automation and electrical control systems such as safety circuits, proximity sensors, photo eyes, and limit switches.
Work independently or as part of a team to diagnose and resolve equipment issues in a high-production environment.
Perform preventative maintenance and ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
Follow safety procedures including lockout/tagout and high-voltage protocols.
Work off-shifts or overtime as needed.
Operate safely in varying temperatures, humidity levels, and environmental conditions.
Experience with boiler systems and ammonia refrigeration preferred.
Perform other duties as assigned.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Extensive experience in industrial maintenance or a related trade.
Strong knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, belt systems, motors, pumps, and related mechanical components.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
Demonstrated skill with safe use of hand and power tools.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to collaborate across teams.
Familiarity with safety standards such as lockout/tagout and high-voltage safety.
Experience in the food manufacturing industry is a plus.
