Job Description

Production Lead – 2nd Shift (3:30 PM – 12:00 AM)

Pay: $28–$29 per hour to start, higher for exceptional experience
Shift: Monday–Friday, 3:30 PM–12 AM (30-min unpaid lunch, two paid 15-min breaks)

What You’ll Do:

• Direct daily production work based on schedules and material needs

• Assist team members with mechanical assemblies and bench work

• Train and mentor employees on proper assembly processes and standards

• Perform dimensional checks and product inspections

• Review and report defective materials or issues to supervisors

• Check inventory levels for parts, fasteners, and sub-assemblies

• Support problem-solving on assembly or packaging issues

• Maintain a clean and organized work area

• Follow all safety rules, 6S practices, SDS, FOD, and quality procedures

• Complete basic computer entries for work orders and counts

• Perform repetitive assembly work with accuracy and attention to detail

• Assist in cross-training and provide support across different stations

What You’ll Need:

• 7+ years of production, assembly, or manufacturing experience

• High school diploma or GED

• National Career Readiness Certificate preferred (Silver or higher)

• Prior lead or team-coordination experience helpful

• Comfortable directing small groups and giving feedback

• Strong communication and listening skills

• Mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools

• Ability to read work instructions, drawings, and visual aids

• Basic math skills including fractions and metric conversions

• Familiar with Lean, 6S, SDS, and basic quality systems

• Ability to stay focused on tasks for long periods and work with minimal supervision
