Concrete Finisher-Road Construction

Looking for Concrete Finishers to work on Road Construction.

MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH CONCRETE FINISHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Location: Longview, TX and surrounding areas within 60 miles of Longview, TX

Job Type: Full-Time

A Concrete Finisher in road construction is responsible for ensuring the smooth and level surfaces of roadways. Their duties include:

• Setting forms for concrete to ensure correct depth and pitch.
• Mixing, pouring, and spreading concrete in specified proportions.
• Operating trowels to smooth and fine-grade the concrete.
• Applying sealing and hardening components to cure surfaces.
• Creating textured, decorated surfaces by imprinting patterns in fresh concrete.
• Monitoring concrete as it hardens to ensure it meets specifications and making necessary adjustments.
• Using saws and cutting tools to cut expansion joints into the concret
• Must be ok with working in the Texas Heat
• Valid drivers license and reliable transportation preferred but not required. (You can ride to the job sites in the crew trucks.)

Must be ok with working 8-10 hour days sometimes longer.
