Job Description

Duties / Capabilities / Requirements:

1. Must be able to measure & mark dimensions & reference points accurately. 
2. Operate CNC Mills & Lathes
3. Fabricate tools jigs & fixtures to meet engineering needs. 
4. Maintain logs
5. Run machines small & large tolerances.
6. Set up machines
7. Produce either large quantity or single run items efficiently, with accuracy & quality.
8. Read drawings, use basic machine shop math use precision measuring tools to complete assigned work.
9. Preform basic welding as required to weld drivers, or tie downs to work piece.
10. Work independently or as a group.
11. Follow either verbal or written instructions as required.
12. Preform basic housekeeping as needed in assigned area.
13. Preform basic preventive maintenance daily on any assigned machine.
14. Ensure all machined parts are marked with proper job number.
15. Must be able to lift 50-60 lbs. on a regular basis.
16. Must be able to work in a typical shop environment with varying conditions of cold, heat, humidity, noise etc. 
17. Any other duties required by the Supervisor.
