Summary
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee and manage multiple projects from pre-construction through completion. This individual is responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety across our specialty scopes.
The ideal candidate has strong experience in interior systems, exterior envelope systems, and architectural finishes, with the ability to coordinate manufacturing, field installation, and subcontractor activities.
Scope of Responsibilities
- Manage Projects End-to-End: Plan, coordinate, and deliver projects across drywall, acoustics, specialty ceilings, exterior wall systems, millwork, and carpentry—ensuring alignment with schedule, budget, and quality goals.
- Scheduling & Coordination: Develop and maintain project schedules covering procurement, fabrication, and installation; lead kickoff and coordination meetings.
- Financial Oversight: Manage budgets, forecasts, change orders, and cost controls to ensure profitability; review contracts and agreements.
- Preconstruction Review: Evaluate plans, specs, and shop drawings for constructability; collaborate with design teams, GCs, and internal operations; support value engineering efforts.
- Field Execution: Partner with superintendents and crews to monitor progress, resolve issues, and maintain schedule and quality standards.
- Safety & Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
- Client Management: Serve as primary client contact; provide updates, reports, and issue resolution while maintaining strong relationships.
- Quality & Closeout: Ensure work meets design intent and quality standards; coordinate inspections and closeout documentation.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in construction project management
- Proven experience in one or more of the following: drywall & acoustical systems, specialty ceilings, exterior cladding or engineered wall systems, architectural woodworking / millwork, finish carpentry
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and sequencing
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and shop drawings
- Proficiency with project management software (Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, etc.)
