This individual will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing all aspects of civil and site development projects from pre-construction through completion. This role ensures projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while managing multiple scopes including underground utilities, grading, paving, landscape, hardscape, and masonry.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, manage, and execute construction projects from initial bid through closeout
• Review plans, specifications, and contracts to define project scope, schedule, and budget
• Develop detailed project schedules and coordinate with superintendents, subcontractors, and suppliers
• Oversee all site development scopes, including underground utilities, grading, paving, landscaping, hardscape, and masonry work
• Manage project budgets, track costs, and forecast financial performance
• Negotiate and manage subcontracts, purchase orders, and vendor agreements
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, engineers, inspectors, and stakeholders
• Identify and mitigate project risks, resolve issues, and manage change orders
• Ensure quality control through coordination with field teams and regular site visits
• Review and approve project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, pay applications, and closeout packages

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, related field and/or relevant work experience
• 5+ years of project management experience in civil/site development or heavy construction
• Proven experience managing projects involving: underground utilities (water, sewer, storm drain), grading and earthwork, paving (asphalt and concrete), landscape and irrigation, hardscape and masonry
• Strong leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills
• Excellent knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, and cost control
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Proficiency with project management and construction software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project)
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
