Job Description

The Master Scheduler is accountable for developing, maintaining, and governing the master production schedule across multiple cost centers and product lines. This role ensures schedule integrity by validating capacity, material availability, tooling readiness, and cross‑functional alignment to support on‑time delivery and operational efficiency.

• Release and manage all assemblies, sub‑assemblies, and shop orders in alignment with the master schedule.
• Analyze capacity, material availability, and constraints to determine schedule feasibility.
• Resolve complex scheduling conflicts through coordination with Contracts, Quality, Purchasing, Engineering, and Operations.
• Develop and execute recovery plans for delinquent or high‑risk orders.
• Coordinate production and shipping plans with supervisors to ensure schedule adherence.
• Validate inventory levels, WIP status, and material readiness to support production demand.
• Monitor and adjust Kanban systems and replenishment strategies to maintain inventory targets.
• Maintain accuracy of MRP data, including lead times, BOMs, and planning parameters.
• Track schedule performance metrics and drive continuous improvement in planning accuracy.
• Maintain and publish the monthly Build Plan.
