Recruitment Assistant (Contract) – Hybrid | Toronto, ON

Pay: $25.00/hour
Job Type: 6-Month Contract (Potential for Extension)
Work Model: Hybrid (Remote with approx. 2 in-office days per month)
Location: Toronto, ON

Key Responsibilities
Post job openings and manage candidate applications through the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers
Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records within the ATS
Source potential candidates through job boards, social media, and professional networks
Conduct initial phone screenings to assess candidate qualifications and fit
Track and report on recruitment metrics, pipelines, and hiring activity
Provide general administrative support to the recruitment team
Qualifications & Skills
Previous experience or coursework in recruitment, HR, or business operations
Understanding of the Ontario Employment Standards Act (ESA) is an asset
Experience with ATS platforms and strong technical proficiency
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Self-motivated with a proactive, problem-solving mindset
Previous business experience (internship or employment) is an asset
