Facilities Coordinator – Retail 

Job Type: Full-Time, Contract (6 Months – Potential for Extension)
Location: Toronto, ON (Midtown – Yonge & Eglinton)
Work Model: Hybrid (4 Days On-Site, 1 Day Remote)
Pay Rate: $25/hour


Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Facilities Coordinator to support the day-to-day operations of a dynamic retail environment. This is a 6-month contract opportunity with strong potential for extension, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-site setting.

In this role, you will coordinate maintenance activities, manage vendor relationships, and ensure facilities are operating efficiently, safely, and in alignment with operational standards. This is a Replacement Position.


Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily facilities operations across multiple retail locations
  • Manage and schedule preventative and reactive maintenance requests
  • Liaise with vendors, contractors, and service providers to ensure timely service delivery
  • Track and monitor work orders to ensure completion within service level agreements (SLAs)
  • Conduct site checks and support maintenance standards across locations
  • Assist with invoice processing, budget tracking, and expense coordination
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and vendor documentation
  • Support health & safety compliance and reporting requirements
  • Respond to urgent facility issues and escalate as needed
  • Collaborate with internal teams including operations, finance, and HR

Qualifications & Experience

  • 2–5 years of experience in facilities coordination, property management, or retail operations
  • Experience supporting multiple locations or a retail environment is strongly preferred
  • Basic knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing)
  • Strong vendor coordination and relationship management experience
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word); CMMS experience is an asset
