Bilingual Screening Clerk (French/English)
Duration: 12-Month Contract (Maternity Leave Coverage)
Location: 100% Remote (within GTA)
Salary: $45,000 – $48,000 annually
We are partnering with a well-established regulatory organization seeking a Bilingual Screening Clerk to support a high-volume registration team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in structured environments, enjoys working with data and documentation, and is comfortable handling member inquiries in both English and French.
This position will primarily support Francophone members/applicants, requiring strong bilingual communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, review, and track a high volume of incoming documentation (email, mail, and other channels)
- Screen applications and correspondence for completeness and accuracy before further processing
- Maintain accurate records within a CRM or case management system
- Respond to member and applicant inquiries via phone and email in both English and French
- Conduct follow-ups on incomplete or outstanding files to ensure timely resolution
- Collaborate with internal teams to support efficient file processing
- Perform additional administrative duties as required
Qualifications
- Completion of a 2- or 3-year college diploma
- Bilingual in French and English (minimum C1 level) – required
- 1–3 years of experience in an administrative, screening, or coordination role
- Experience working in a high-volume environment using CRM or case management systems
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage large volumes of documentation
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a customer service mindset
- Comfortable handling inbound and outbound calls
- Previous regulatory experience is an asset
