North Toronto – Located at the northeast corner of Yonge Blvd and Wilson Avenue
Work Arrangement:
This is an on-site role
Hours of Work:
8 am – 4 pm Monday-to-Friday, 5 days per week with two 15 min breaks and one 30 min break for lunch.
Master of Library or Information Science from an American Library Association (ALA) accredited program.
Minimum six (6) months of experience within the past twenty-four (24) months in one or more of the following:
Reference and research services in an academic library, including creation of online information products using LibGuides or other web-based tools
Instruction and promotion of library resources using online and multimedia tools
Development or maintenance of library websites or SharePoint sites
Design and delivery of library workshops or training sessions
Ability to perform professional duties in French.
Provide reference and research services to a specialized audience of graduate students focused on strategic and national security studies
Develop, document, and maintain instructional materials and information guides, including web-based tools for accessing library resources
Collaborate with a team of librarians to redesign and develop library websites, SharePoint sites, and LibGuides
