Pay Rate: $45–$55 per hour

SickKids Foundation is looking for a skilled and relationship-focused People & Culture Business Partner to support assigned client groups and deliver a full range of HR programs. In this role, you will provide trusted advice, hands-on support, and strategic guidance across all stages of the employee experience.
Serve as the main People & Culture partner for assigned client groups
Build strong relationships and understand business goals and culture
Use HR data and insights to identify risks and opportunities
Advise leaders on workforce planning, team effectiveness, and organizational needs
Promote equity, diversity, and inclusion across hiring and development practices
Support annual talent processes—performance reviews, compensation, and development planning
Coach leaders on goal setting, feedback, and employee development
Support internal mobility, career growth, and upskilling
Lead enhancements to Talent Management programs
Collaborate with P&C partners to ensure consistency across the organization
Manage end-to-end recruitment for assigned client groups
Create sourcing strategies to attract diverse, high-quality talent
Partner with leaders to develop inclusive postings and equitable hiring practices
Support compensation recommendations aligned to internal equity
Provide daily guidance on employee relations, accommodations, policies, and performance issues
Coach leaders on equitable hiring, development, and team dynamics
Use engagement data to support culture-building initiatives
Manage conflict resolution and lead investigations as needed
Identify talent risks and support succession actions
Participate in committees and working groups focused on DEI and culture
Guide teams through restructuring, realignment, and change initiatives
Provide tools, communication plans, and support during transitions
Improve structures, clarify roles, and enhance team effectiveness
Monitor outcomes and recommend improvements
Lead or support projects that improve talent development, engagement, and HR processes
Provide expertise in policy development, compensation, and organizational effectiveness
5+ years of progressive HR experience across multiple HR functions
Experience in recruitment, employee relations, and talent initiatives
Knowledge of performance management, reviews, and compensation programs
Strong full-cycle recruiting skills
Solid understanding of HR legislation and compliance
Excellent relationship-building and communication skills
Ability to coach leaders and handle sensitive issues with professionalism
Strong HR data and analytical skills
Proven project leadership and ability to manage multiple priorities
Strong written communication for reports, presentations, and proposals
CHRL (completed or in progress) is an asset
