This role is ideal for someone who thinks beyond traditional executive support — a professional with a consultative, project-ownership mindset who is comfortable asking questions, operating independently, and driving work forward in a changing environment.
This is a modern Executive Assistant role with strong Chief-of-Staff elements. The CEO is highly capable and self-sufficient and is looking for a trusted partner who can take assigned work, own it end-to-end, and deliver results with minimal oversight.
Rather than heavy calendar management, this role focuses on project coordination, drafting, follow-through, and problem-solving. You may also provide light support to other executives as needed.
This opportunity will strongly appeal to candidates from consulting, advisory, policy, or project-based backgrounds who enjoy autonomy and exposure to executive-level priorities.
Partner closely with the CEO on priority initiatives and special projects
Take ownership of assigned workstreams, from scoping through delivery
Draft, review, and refine correspondence, briefing notes, presentations, and internal materials
Coordinate with internal teams and stakeholders to move work forward efficiently
Provide executive support as required
Proactively question assumptions, identify gaps, and suggest process improvements
Handle sensitive and confidential matters with sound judgment and discretion
You are not seeking a traditional administrative role. You are:
Independent, inquisitive, and confident pushing for clarity
Comfortable working with ambiguity and evolving priorities
Organized, detail-oriented, and outcomes-focused
Able to receive high-level direction and determine the execution path independently
Post-secondary education or equivalent practical experience
5+ years of experience in executive support, consulting, advisory, or project-driven environments
Strong project ownership and follow-through capabilities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
High level of professionalism, discretion, and judgment
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office
Board exposure is nice to have, but not required
Salary: $80,000–$85,000 annually
Health, Dental & Vision Coverage
Health Spending Account
RRSP Matching
Paid Time Off
Employee & Family Assistance Program (EFAP)
Work Perks: Access to Perkopolis
Wellness: GoodLife Fitness corporate discount program
