We are seeking a Workday Engineer with deep expertise in Workday Financials and strong technical development capabilities. This role will play a key part in supporting critical finance initiatives, managing active projects, and ensuring seamless integrations across enterprise systems.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable collaborating directly with finance stakeholders while partnering with cross-functional teams across platforms such as Salesforce and Workfront to deliver scalable, end-to-end solutions.
This is a contract role for 25-30 hours per week. Set hours can be established.
Responsibilities
Serve as the primary Workday Financials engineer, supporting modules including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Procurement, Expenses, and Projects.
Lead efforts related to project-based financial management, including project accounting and project margin reporting and analysis.
Design, develop, and maintain Workday integrations using Workday Studio.
Partner with finance stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into effective Workday solutions.
Collaborate with Salesforce and Workfront teams to support cross-platform workflows and integrations.
Provide ongoing Workday system support, troubleshooting, and enhancements as part of a growing technology team.
Required Qualifications
Strong hands-on experience with Workday Financials, including multiple modules with emphasis on project financials and margin reporting.
Proven technical expertise with Workday Studio and integrations with third-party systems.
Advanced Workday reporting and analytics experience.
Experience supporting Workday security administration, including role assignments, segregation of duties, and audit support.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and active projects in a dynamic environment.
Excellent communication skills and a demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with finance stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
