Job Description

We’re seeking a Senior Full-Stack React / .NET Engineer who thrives on building scalable, high-quality software and owning features end-to-end. In this role, you’ll design and implement modern web applications using React on the frontend and .NET (ASP.NET Core) on the backend, contributing to both product development and technical architecture.

You will work in a high-autonomy engineering environment where senior developers are expected to take ownership of systems, drive technical decisions, and mentor other engineers. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, improving systems, and setting engineering standards across the stack.

Role is remote, but candidates must be in the Atlanta metropolitan area.

AI-Forward Software Delivery

SOLTECH is an early adopter of AI-powered software delivery. Our engineers work in an AI-forward development environment where modern AI tools are used to accelerate coding, improve design decisions, and enhance engineering productivity.

We actively help clients build AI-enabled applications, enterprise AI agents, and AI-centric SaaS platforms across industries. This means our engineers are not only using AI to build software more efficiently, but also designing and delivering software products where AI is a core capability.

Engineers who thrive at SOLTECH are curious, innovative, and eager to explore how AI can transform the way software is designed, built, and delivered.

Core Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain full-stack features from concept through production
  • Develop modern React-based frontend applications with strong performance and usability
  • Build scalable backend APIs and services using .NET / ASP.NET Core
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to translate requirements into robust technical solutions
  • Improve system reliability, scalability, and maintainability across the platform
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team-wide engineering standards and best practices
  • Evaluate and adopt modern development tools, including AI-assisted workflows

Core Requirements

Technical Skills

  • 5–8+ years of professional software development experience in production environments
  • Strong experience building modern React applications (hooks, component architecture, state management, etc.)
  • Strong backend development experience with .NET / ASP.NET Core
  • Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs and service-oriented architectures
  • Strong proficiency with relational databases (SQL Server preferred), including schema design, indexing, and performance tuning
  • Experience working with ORM technologies such as Entity Framework
  • Ability to design, implement, and ship full-stack features independently
  • Experience working with AI-assisted development tools, including:
  • Using AI coding tools to accelerate development workflows
    • Applying sound judgment on when AI-generated solutions are appropriate
    • Helping teammates adopt AI tools effectively and responsibly
  • Comfortable working with modern developer environments including:
    • Docker and containerized environments
    • Linux-based development environments
    • Command-line tooling and developer workflows
Engineering Mindset

We’re looking for engineers who:

  • Take ownership of systems and outcomes, not just tickets
  • Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code
  • Understand tradeoffs between speed, quality, and scalability
  • Are comfortable making technical decisions in ambiguous situations
  • Are excited about leveraging AI to enhance the software development lifecycle
  • Help raise the engineering bar for the team

Bonus Experience

  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure)
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation
  • Experience working in microservices or distributed systems architectures
  • Exposure to modern React tooling such as Next.js, Vite, or advanced React frameworks
  • Experience implementing automated testing strategies (unit, integration, and end-to-end testing)
  • Experience building AI-enabled applications or integrating AI services into production systems
  • Mobile development experience (React Native or similar)

Why This Role

  • High ownership and technical autonomy
  • Opportunity to shape engineering practices and architecture
  • Work in an AI-forward development environment
  • Build modern full-stack applications and AI-enabled systems
  • Collaborative environment focused on continuous improvement
