SOLTECH is seeking a Solution Architect (similar to a Technical Architect or Principal Engineer) with strong experience in modern software architecture, cloud-native application development, and AI-enabled solutions.
This role involves designing and building applications using technologies such as .NET, Node.js, React, Azure, and AWS, while guiding engineering teams and working directly with clients.
In this role, you will work directly with clients to design scalable applications, guide engineering teams, and help organizations adopt AI-enabled solutions and modern cloud architectures.
This role blends architecture leadership, hands-on development, and client collaboration — making it ideal for senior engineers who want to influence both technical direction and real-world outcomes.

What You’ll Do
- Partner with SOLTECH clients to translate business goals into scalable software architectures
- Lead solution design, architecture planning, and technical discovery
- Produce architecture artifacts including solution diagrams, user stories, wireframes, and conceptual data models
- Provide technical leadership to engineering teams while remaining close to implementation
- Architect and build applications using .NET, Node.js, React, and modern cloud platforms
- Design and implement AI-enabled application capabilities, including model integration and intelligent features
- Guide teams on cloud architecture, scalability, security, and operational best practices
- Participate in solution discussions, technical assessments, and project scoping
- Mentor engineers and help drive engineering best practices and modern architecture patterns
Hands-On Architecture
This is a hands-on architecture role. Our Technical Architects remain actively involved in solving complex technical challenges, guiding implementation decisions, and mentoring development teams.
You won’t be removed from the code — you’ll help teams build better systems.

Core Experience
We’re looking for candidates with strong experience in several of the following areas:
- 8+ years building enterprise web or mobile applications
- Strong development experience with .NET (C#) or Node.js
- Experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue
- Experience designing and deploying cloud-native applications in Azure or AWS
- Strong understanding of application architecture, distributed systems, and scalability
- Experience leading or mentoring engineers on complex technical implementations
- Ability to communicate technical solutions clearly with clients and stakeholders
AI & Data Experience
Experience building AI-enabled applications, such as:
- Integrating LLM or AI APIs into software applications
- Implementing Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) or knowledge-based assistants
- Designing intelligent application features powered by AI or machine learning
- Working with platforms such as Azure OpenAI, AWS AI/ML services, or Databricks
Nice to Have
- Experience with containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with data platforms or analytics tools (Snowflake, Power BI, Tableau)
- Exposure to vector databases, model fine-tuning, or LoRA techniques
- Experience working in a consulting or client-facing environment
