Account Manager – Atlanta, GA (onsite)We are a strategic technology consulting, custom software development, and IT staffing firm with over 25 years of success helping clients solve complex business problems through technology. We are growing our account management team who supports SOLTECH’s Staffing Solutions business.
Position Overview
As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for cultivating client relationships, ensuring consultant engagement, and expanding business opportunities within assigned Staffing Solutions accounts. You will act as the go-to partner for clients seeking IT staffing solutions while ensuring our consultants feel supported and valued throughout their engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, fostering strong, trust-based relationships.
- Proactively manage ongoing communications, ensuring client satisfaction and long-term retention.
- Understand client business goals and align staffing solutions to create value.
Consultant Engagement
- Maintain regular communication with placed consultants to ensure they feel supported and engaged.
- Monitor consultant satisfaction, address concerns promptly, and identify opportunities for extensions or new placements.
- Leverage consultant feedback to uncover potential new business opportunities within client accounts.
Recruiting Process Partnership
- Act as a liaison between clients and the internal talent acquisition team to ensure clear communication on staffing needs.
- Partner with recruiters on roles spanning contract, contract-to-hire, and permanent placements.
- Manage the client-facing aspects of onboarding new resources, including coordination of interviews, offer discussions, and start logistics.
- Provide ongoing feedback between clients and recruiters to ensure successful placements and long-term fit. Account Growth & Expansion
- Develop and execute account strategies to expand business within existing accounts.
- Identify and pursue new opportunities by understanding client needs and staffing demands.
- Collaborate with recruiting teams to ensure timely delivery of qualified talent to clients.
Qualifications
Education - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Science, or Engineering.
Experience- 1-3 years of professional experience in account management, client services, or staffing industry roles.
Strong Communication Skills- Exceptional verbal and written communication with the ability to tailor messaging to clients, consultants, and internal teams.
- Skilled at facilitating discussions between clients and recruiters to ensure clear understanding of staffing needs.
- Confident in presenting solutions, leading client conversations, and building trust through transparency.
Emotional Intelligence- Ability to actively listen, empathize, and respond thoughtfully to both client and consultant needs.
- Adept at managing sensitive situations such as consultant concerns or client escalations with professionalism and tact.
- Strong relationship-building skills that foster loyalty and long-term partnerships.
Curiosity & Hunger- Driven to deeply understand client industries, challenges, and goals to uncover new opportunities.
- Proactive in learning about market trends, emerging technologies, and the competitive staffing landscape.

Tech-Savvy- Proficient in CRM systems, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and common collaboration tools (e.g., MS Office, Teams, Slack).
- Quick to adopt and leverage technology to streamline communication and improve efficiency.
- Comfortable discussing technical job roles and understanding core IT concepts at a high level.
