Position Overview:

We’re seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Sales Development Representative (SDR) focused on prospecting, qualifying, and reactivating leads from our existing Salesforce CRM.  This role will play a critical part in pipeline development by mining historic account and opportunity data, re-engaging with former clients and prospects, and scheduling qualified discovery meetings for our Business Development and Account Management teams. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and segment existing Salesforce data to identify high-potential dormant accounts and contacts.
  • Execute multi-channel outbound sequences (calls, emails, LinkedIn) to re-engage with former clients and past opportunities.
  • Qualify leads and schedule meetings for senior sales team (Director of BD, Account Managers).
  • Work closely with marketing to personalize outreach and leverage available sales content.
  • Keep CRM records clean, updated, and enriched with current contact data.
  • Track outreach metrics (calls, emails, meetings set) and optimize campaigns based on performance.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, or Business. 
  • Experience:
    • 1-3 years of professional experience (preferably in sales, business development, or a customer-facing role).
  • Skills & Competencies:
    • Strong Communication Skills: Must be articulate, confident, and comfortable speaking with C-suite executives, business owners, and decision-makers.
    • Emotional Intelligence: Ability to connect with prospects, understand their pain points, and adapt the sales approach accordingly.
    • Curiosity & Hunger: Eagerness to learn, grow, and be challenged, with a drive to succeed in a sales-focused environment.
    • Sense of Urgency: Ability to manage multiple leads and prospects while maintaining a fast-paced, results-oriented approach.
    • Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using Salesforce and other sales tools; along with an awareness and understanding of current tools and technologies in the software space.
    • Fearless Approach: Confident in making cold calls and initiating conversations with new prospects without hesitation.
  • Working Environment:
    • A desire to work from the office 4-5 days per week to foster team collaboration and ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Personality Traits:
    • Humble & Coachable: Willingness to accept feedback, learn from others, and continuously improve.
    • Self-Motivated: Capable of working independently and staying driven to hit targets.

Success Metrics:

  • Meetings booked with qualified leads.
  • Reactivated accounts that re-engage in opportunity discussions.
  • Contribution to pipeline growth from reactivated leads.
